Been a while since I've dropped a review. Sorry about that; been a little sick.

Today I have for you another great coffee from 1000 Faces Coffee. Loving their new bag design. It's also a compostable Biotre bag. This is this their Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza. This is a Natural Brazil from the Caconde, Sao Paolo region. I brewed this at my 1:12 ratio. 1000 Faces notes flavors of milk chocolate, peanut butter, dried berries. Nice sweet cup. Chocolate, toffee, nutty. Nice cherry, tart acidity. Super yummy natural from Brazil.

Oak & Bond Chardonnay wine barrel aged Ethiopia

Today I have a wonderful bean from the folks over at Oak & Bond Coffee Co. After developing a passion for coffee, Oak & Bond Coffee Co. founders, Brian and Lauren McCulloch, continued to explore for their perfect cup. they were in search of a rich, vibrant coffee that they could share with their family and friends. They first found their perfect cup from a small micro lot in the Chapadas de Minas region of Brazil. It was at this point that Brian and Lauren took the leap to open Oak & Bond Coffee Co. To this day their goal remains, share their passion for sourcing the highest quality coffee with you. This is their Chardonnay wine barrel aged Ethiopia coffee. It's a Semi Washed Guji bean with the barrel being sourced from Napa, California. Oak & Bond notes flavors of bright white grape, lemon, watermelon, & cocoa. First of all, love the packaging. Joe Bean Costa Rica Las Torres

Today I feature another bean from the good people at Joe Bean Coffee. Joe Bean takes great pride in their quality process. Once a coffee is in-house, it can take several weeks to extract the exact flavor profile they want to showcase. A balanced process combining human touch with technology allows them to then recreate that precise profile each time they roast. Each batch is then cupped prior to leaving their roastery for absolute accuracy and consistency. This is their Costa Rica Las Torres. This is a black honey processed bean from the Brunca region. I brewed this at my 1:12 ratio. Joe Bean notes flavors of apple, hazelnut, brown butter, and chocolate. This was a very bright cup of cold brew. Clean fruity acidity with some nice grape notes. Here I have a great bean for you guys from Treeline Coffee Roasters out of Montana. When Treeline started in August of 2013 their goal was simple: create an unforgettable cup of coffee. They take this mission seriously and roast unique coffees in small batches to bring you a cup of coffee you won’t find anywhere else. The journey began on a coffee farm in Colombia when their founder Natalie was traveling on a cross-country motorcycle trip. Driven by curiosity and her love of coffee, she was inspired by her visit with the farmer, Don Eilas, who not only taught her about the growing process but also invited her into his home to show her how to roast freshly harvested coffee over an open flame. For the next six years, Natalie cultivated her craft, experimentally roasting a variety of beans on a wide range of apparatuses.
