Here we have a coffee from the fellas over at Redbeard Coffee Roasters. A team of fellow "red beards" Nathaniel & Stephen.

This is their Rwanda Karongi Gitesi. A medium roast wet processed bean. I brewed this at my stronger 1:8 ratio. Redbeard notes flavors of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, honey. This was a tasty Rwandan. Believe I've only had one other, and I liked it as well. Would love it pair this with Thanksgiving! Definitely love the spicy-bed of this coffee. Cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins. Delicious. Also drank this with some cream and it was delicious. It's own desert.

Today I feature a tasty bean from Alamance Kaffee Werks out of Graham, North Carolina. Alamance Kaffee Werks was started from the enjoyment of amazing coffee by Daniel Krenzer & Kevin Jordan. Daniel's love of coffee came after visiting Corlesto Coffee Roasters in Billings, Montana. He's been to Costa Rica and Thailand, two totally different coffee experiences, and became enthralled with what these regions are offering the coffee world and how coffee is embedded in the culture. When not working with coffee, he works as a school psychologist in public education, primarily working on behalf of students with disabilities. And as such, part of his proceeds go towards non-profit organizations that provide mental health supports for children with Autism and brain injuries. Today I have another bean from the good people over at Alamance Kaffee Werks out of Graham, North Carolina. Alamance Kaffee Werks is passionate about custom roasted coffee, the right roast for the the right bean at the right value. The first thing that you will notice with AKW coffee is the aroma and vibrant flavor. These qualities come from a fresh roasted bean. Since AKW is a custom roastery, your bean is roasted to your preference. This means that the beans are roasted in small batches with precision and care. Today I have a wonderful bean from the folks over at Oak & Bond Coffee Co. After developing a passion for coffee, Oak & Bond Coffee Co. founders, Brian and Lauren McCulloch, continued to explore for their perfect cup. they were in search of a rich, vibrant coffee that they could share with their family and friends. They first found their perfect cup from a small micro lot in the Chapadas de Minas region of Brazil. It was at this point that Brian and Lauren took the leap to open Oak & Bond Coffee Co. To this day their goal remains, share their passion for sourcing the highest quality coffee with you. This is their Chardonnay wine barrel aged Ethiopia coffee.
